Steel Building Installation Guide: What Xinguangzheng Provides and What Your Local Team Handles
For a steel building installation guide, every kit ships with an erection manual, construction drawings and free remote guidance, and on-site guidance is optional. Scope depends on your site: your local contractor erects the steel on a locally built foundation, and we confirm the scope in the quote.
Send the building type, width × length × eave height, your country and whether you want on-site installation guidance listed as an option, and we return a free layout, specification and itemized quote.

Steel Building Installation Guide: What Is Included, Optional and Not Included
The table below splits the steel building installation guide support that follows delivery into what the quote includes, what you can add and what stays outside it. Site erection is not in the quote: the kit ships with an erection manual and construction drawings, free remote guidance comes with it, and on-site installation guidance is an option. No prices are listed on this page, because installation labor is outside the quote and the price drivers are set out in the questions below. Each column is its own list, so read down a column rather than across a row.
Site erection is outside the quote
| Included in the quote | Available as options | Not included |
|---|---|---|
| Erection manual and construction drawings | On-site installation guidance, with scope and terms confirmed in your quote | On-site installation |
| Free remote guidance | Insulation | Foundation design and construction |
| Column base reaction data for your foundation designer | Crane rail system | Site preparation and local permits |
| Steel structure, roof and wall panels, bolts and accessories in export packing | Facade design | Sea freight, customs clearance, duties, taxes, insurance and inland transport |
Remote and Optional On-Site Installation Guidance, and What Your Local Contractor Handles
The six items below list what you confirm, receive and arrange, from the 3D model check before cutting to erection by your local contractor. The numbers index the items and do not set an erection sequence.
We manufacture the structure your local contractor erects: Q355B welded H-section main frames, galvanized Z / C purlins and 0.5 mm profiled steel sheet, made with laser plate cutting, welding robots and an automatic spraying line. Doors, windows, skylights, cranes and insulation cores are items we supply, and whether they are in your package is confirmed in the quote.
- 3D model confirmed by you before cutting
- Construction drawings and erection manual ship with the steel
- Column base reaction data for your foundation designer
- Free remote guidance
- Optional on-site installation guidance
- Erection by your local contractor
Your local team designs and builds the foundation, and the column base reaction data from Xinguangzheng goes to your foundation designer on request. When the manual, drawings and free remote guidance are enough for your contractor, on-site guidance can be left out. When you want someone on site, list on-site installation guidance as an option in your enquiry, and its scope and terms are confirmed in the quote. This page gives no general erection sequence or lifting plan, and your local contractor carries out the erection.
Your destination country and whether on-site installation guidance is an option you want both affect the quote scope, so list them beside the building size and we scope the quote against both.

Our steel building installation guide answers what ships with the kit and who builds it, while the cargo details and the wider erection overview sit on the two pages below.
Installation Guidance Questions: Scope, Documents, Freight, Codes and Payment
Can a steel building installation guide replace a turnkey erection contract?
No. A project that needs the supplier to build the foundation and erect the steel under one turnkey price is not a fit for this kit supply, and neither is a building under 3,000 m². Foundation and erection stay with your local team, supported by the manual, drawings and remote guidance, so hire a local erection contractor separately.
What does the free remote guidance cover, and when should I ask for on-site guidance?
Free remote guidance comes with the kit, but its format and the questions it covers are not published on this page. On-site installation guidance is optional, and its scope, form and terms are confirmed in the quote. List it in your enquiry if you want it quoted, so the written quote states what it includes.
What ships with the steel, and how is it packed and checked?
Construction drawings, the installation manual, and the UT report with photos ship with the steel. The cargo is bundled on steel pallets under an export packing and container loading plan. At the factory, main welds are ultrasonically tested and coating thickness is measured, and this page states no inspection percentage.
Who designs the foundation for the steel, and does the quote include anchor bolts?
Your local team designs and builds the foundation, and Xinguangzheng provides column base reaction data for your foundation designer. Anchor bolt supply is confirmed in your quote. Request the column base data when you send your enquiry, so your designer has it at hand when the foundation is planned.
How long does delivery take, and who pays for freight and customs?
Production takes 15–40 days depending on tonnage, confirmed in the quote, and a project typically runs 4–12 weeks overall, including local installation. Cargo leaves Qingdao port. Sea freight, inland transport, customs clearance, duties, taxes, insurance and permits are outside the quote, and sea transit days are confirmed for your destination port.
Which certifications and quality system apply to the steel?
Qingdao Xinguangzheng Steel Structure Co., Ltd. (NEEQ: 834422) makes the steel under an ISO 9001:2015 system. It is certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau to CSA W47.1 Division 1 and holds EN 1090 (CE) and EAC (GOST 23118-2019) certification. Certificate copies are available on request.
What do I send for a quote, and what changes the price?
Send the building type and use, width × length × eave height, site country and city, single or multi-span layout, crane tonnage, insulation, door and window needs, mezzanine, and whether the site has high wind or snow. Span, wind and snow loads, crane tonnage and local code drive the price, along with insulation, door and window count and mezzanine.
Which design codes apply, and what service life are the frames designed for?
The design code follows the destination country and the project engineer, commonly AISC 360, EN 1993, AS 4100 or GB 50017, and the frames are designed to the code that applies, not certified to it. The buildings are designed for a 50-year service life, with maintenance as set out in the maintenance manual.
What are the payment terms, and what do I receive before paying the balance?
Payment is by T/T or L/C, with a 30% deposit and the 70% balance paid before shipment. Before you pay the balance, the UT weld inspection report and photos reach you, and third-party inspection is welcome. Raise any inspection arrangement you want when you request the quote, so it is agreed before you order.
