Single-skin profiled sheet suits a building with no insulation requirement, while a sandwich panel is the choice where insulation is needed. Roof and wall insulation is a quote input, so panel type comes before color. Coloring trim, wainscot or doors on screen does not place those items in the supply scope.
From the Exterior Metal Building Color Visualizer to a Quote
A metal building color visualizer result is two files: a 2D elevation PNG and a five-part JSON parameter sheet. The PNG carries no engineering dimensions, loads, quote figures or delivery dates, so a quote depends on the inputs below.
The tool offers English parameter text that the buyer copies and pastes into the inquiry by hand. The PNG is attached separately, and nothing is filled in or submitted automatically. A quote also needs building type and use, width × length × eave height, site country and city, and single-span or multi-span layout. Add crane tonnage, roof and wall insulation, door and window count, any mezzanine and any high wind or snow zone.

On-screen RGB values are the software’s approximations, not an official RAL digital color library or an assured match with real material.
Six RAL reference options, not a company color chart
The palette holds six options named after general RAL references: 7016, 9002, 9010, 5010, 6005 and 3000. They stand in until a company color chart exists and are not a company supply color list.
The preview is not a confirmation
A preview or download confirms no real color, coating, weathering life, trim, wainscot or door supply, and no quote. The image draws your selection and is not a photograph of a completed project.
Color Visualizer and Ordering FAQ
Which building shapes does the metal building color visualizer show?
Two forms appear, gable and single-slope, and both are preview shapes only. Structural layout is a separate decision: single-span framing has no interior columns and multi-span framing has them. Single-span or multi-span is one of the quote inputs, so the layout your floor plan needs belongs in the inquiry.
Is this tool meant for small garages and sheds?
No. Xinguangzheng supplies projects from 3,000 m², and smaller buildings fall outside the supply range. A buyer planning a garage or shed is well served by the color tool of a local small-building supplier and does not need an export kit quote. Larger projects can send a color elevation with an inquiry.
Does the color I pick change the price?
Published price drivers are span, wind and snow loads, crane tonnage and local code, plus the insulation scheme, door and window count and any mezzanine. Color is not on that list, and its effect on price is unpublished, so ask for it as a line in the written quote.
What quality system covers the roof and wall panels I am coloring?
All Xinguangzheng products are controlled under an ISO 9001 quality management system, which takes in the profiled sheets and wall panels the company manufactures. The edition on record is ISO 9001:2015, and the scope is stated as all products, not a single product line.
Does the 50-year design life cover the panel color?
Xinguangzheng steel buildings are designed for a 50-year service life, with maintenance as set out in the maintenance manual. That figure describes the structure, not how long a panel color holds. A preview is no evidence of weathering life and color retention has no published figure, so request the coating system and its color data in writing.
Does saving or downloading a color preview place an order?
No. A saved or downloaded preview only records your color picks, and the tool submits nothing. Ordering is a separate step with its own payment terms: T/T or L/C, with a 30% deposit and 70% paid before shipment. Before the balance, the UT weld test report and photos are sent to you, and third-party inspection is welcome.
Are the PNG and parameter sheet part of the shipping documents?
No. Both downloads record a color selection only. The documents that come with the shipment are construction drawings, the installation manual and the UT report with photos. Goods are packed on steel pallets, with export packing and a loading plan prepared for the shipment.
Who installs the roof and wall panels shown in the preview?
Your local erection crew does, because the building ships as a kit and on-site erection is not part of the quote. Give the crew the construction drawings and installation manual that come with the shipment, not the preview: the PNG carries no engineering dimensions.
